SVD FDN Artist Pack T-Shirt x Essa White

SVD presents the Dubai Local Artist Capsule to celebrate the arrival of SVD in Arabia through the works of two local artists, one of which is Emirati streetwear designer Essa Rashid Alnuaimi. Essa, renowned for his fresh and funky designs, is the creative mind behind the latest addition to the SVD FOUNDATION SERIES.

Born in the UAE, Sharjah’m to be precise, Essa is the founder of Dubai-based brand, 90s Kids Club. As an artist, Essa combines typography, illustrations, photography and harmonious lines to create his iconic artwork, drawing inspiration from what he encounters around him in his day-to-day life.

Made in Barcelona, this limited edition garment is made of 100% high quality organic cotton, using full garment dye. Sporting a ribbed neck, this white short-sleeve T-Shirt stands out for the edgy 2 SVD logos screen-printed on the chest, as a representation of the union of two worlds: Europe and the Middle East, Spain and the UAE, Barcelona and Dubai. The garment is completed with a graphic detail that refers to the collaboration on the back, with the color red being chosen throughout to represent the common color shared between the two flags.
