Y-3 and Terrex team up for their first collaboration

Halfway between city and nature, Y-3 meets adidas Terrex. Yohji Yamamoto's avant-garde style and the experience of adidas' most mountain-ready line, acquired through technologies resistant to extreme elements, have made it possible to collaborate with big names in design that look to the outdoors for an alternative aesthetic, such as White Mountaineering or Parley.  

At the heart of the collaboration is the Y-3 Terrex SWIFT R3 GTX, a hybrid that unites the protection of a hiking boot and the comfort of a sneaker. It features a Continental™ rubber outsole that facilitates traction even on wet surfaces, a water-repellent GORE-TEX membrane with a zipper closure that allows for different positions, and special laces that end at the heel and reveal the inner neoprene lining.

The two colorways (CBrown y Black/Orange) of the Y-3 Terrex SWIFT R3 GTX will be available at SVD on October 14th.
