In 2011, while in Barcelona we were finalizing the details of the opening of SVD sivasdescalzo, Sneakerbox was doing the same in Tel Aviv with a store that, just like ours, was a stone's throw from the sea.
Le Coq Sportif joins the celebration of ten years of Sneakerbox with another anniversary, 30 years of Dynactif technology, a system that since 1991 offers shock absorption and energy return through a dual-density midsole. The Dynactif System is identified by two triangles in the midsole separated by three stripes that form another triangle in the opposite direction, a metaphor for the combination of cushioning and return. Here is the origin of the LCS R saga dedicated to running, a collection that has been able to adapt to innovation.
For its collaboration with the Tel Aviv store, the new Le Coq Sportif x Sneakerbox LCS R800 takes on the colors of the kilim, a type of wool rug that is common on the east coast of the Mediterranean, North Africa and part of Asia, and the store's hallmark.
Crafted with wood and forest tones, it features a design pattern inspired by amulets, a neat bag and exquisite details such as the dates embroidered on the inside or the lace loops, which remind us again of the double celebration, the 10th anniversary of Sneakerbox and the 30th of the LCS R.
