adidas AFROPUNK TRIPLE PLATFORUM

adidas and AFROPUNK are collaborating again through a TRIPLE PLATFORUM, the evolution of the basketball icon.

AFROPUNK began as a 2003 documentary exploring the role of African Americans in the American punk scene. It soon evolved into an alternative movement that goes beyond a type of music and culminated in a series of festivals that bring together music, fashion, art, and activism.

adidas is all an expert in identifying the social processes in which its products participate to facilitate their transition from sport to new sensibilities and thus amplify their power.

What unites the three stripes brand and the renowned festival are their common values and the intention to provide a platform where creative voices express themselves freely through art, fashion and music in a safe space.

adidas and AFROPUNK join forces in a TRIPLE PLATFORUM that identifies with a global community and a new perspective on what racialization, gender identity,  ability diversity and sexual orientation mean.

That's why they dedicate their campaign to artists and creatives like bionic singer and model Marsha Elle, rapper and actress Junglepussy and TikTok star Antoni Bumba, who define this new space and embrace their beauty without fear of judgment.
