For the SS23 season, Rick Owens draws inspiration from the timeless aesthetic of Ancient Egypt to design contemporary garments with a divine look. Named after Edfu, the largest temple dedicated to the gods Horus and Hathor, the collection mixes soft, sheer fabrics with angular silhouettes reminiscent of ceremonial garments.

Edfu features this oversized jacket from the Rick Owens DRKSHDW ready-to-wear line, made from stretch denim that has been treated with a mineral dye for a gradient effect. Lightly padded, the jacket features drop shoulder bomber sleeves, ribbed hem and cuffs, side pockets with snap buttons and a zipper closure.
