Asics EX89 x ASPHALTGOLD Beige

ASPHALTGOLD and Asics team up again with a collaboration that pays homage to jazz. Dubbed Impromptu, this partnership transforms the EX89 sneakers into a musical expression inspired by improvised performances through an earthy color palette.

Inspired by the GEL-EXTREME '89, the EX89 sneakers from the Asics x ASPHALTGOLD collaboration hit the ground running. With a rubber outsole and FF BLAST™ technology, they provide added cushioning with every stride. These sneakers are crafted by Toshikazu Kayano and showcase details that make them a unique piece such as a leather upper, ventilation holes, a lace-up closure and a padded ankle for incredibly comfortable everyday wear. Plus, the pattern on the sole recalls a city view from the sky. This functional support feature is inspired by the designer's first business trip to the United States in 1987.
