In this morning of the last Saturday of a long Primavera Sound, in the enclosure of the festival, still with closed doors, the technicians were finishing the soundchecks as well as possible in the shade, trying to escape from a scorching sun. We were on the other side of the Fòrum. Tired. Very tired. There was nothing in the world we wanted more than a pool, a good barbecue, hammocks, and music.
It took some time in Barcelona for the events to return to what they once were. With the drought of the pandemic over, it was only natural that we had a little more trouble surviving the twelve days of this Primavera Sound spread over two weekends. Keeping this in mind, sivasdescalzo and adidas created The Healing House: an oasis, a kind of respite, something like a pit stop before the festival ends. So it was there, on that last morning of Primavera Sound, in the cosmos of the Soho House, based at the time in the Go Beach Club at the Fòrum, that we held a BBQ.
