The Healing House

adidas Originals x sivasdescalzo x Primavera Sound

In this morning of the last Saturday of a long Primavera Sound, in the enclosure of the festival, still with closed doors, the technicians were finishing the soundchecks as well as possible in the shade, trying to escape from a scorching sun. We were on the other side of the Fòrum. Tired. Very tired. There was nothing in the world we wanted more than a pool, a good barbecue, hammocks, and music.


It took some time in Barcelona for the events to return to what they once were. With the drought of the pandemic over, it was only natural that we had a little more trouble surviving the twelve days of this Primavera Sound spread over two weekends. Keeping this in mind, sivasdescalzo and adidas created The Healing House: an oasis, a kind of respite, something like a pit stop before the festival ends. So it was there, on that last morning of Primavera Sound, in the cosmos of the Soho House, based at the time in the Go Beach Club at the Fòrum, that we held a BBQ.

In between cocktails and food, there was some dipping in the pool and, rumor has it, some napping on the floats. We were able to enjoy a fun and gastronomic experience, with vegan burgers and healthy Mediterranean cuisine options. On stage, Lovefoxy opened an all-female line-up. Berliner, super dynamic and explosive, it was the shot we needed.

Anouck's live performance, accompanied by backup singers Sayo Mendes and Adhara Jackson, added a touch of sweetness and intimacy to her Neo-Soul energy. She delighted us with her first EP “Ocean”, but also with covers of songs that, as she explained under the hot sun of Soho, have been a source of inspiration for her musical career. When Nagui came back with the second part of her set, the atmosphere was already on fire… She was able to honor her motto “Dance and Sweat”. Nagui, who always appears on stage with a full tank, brought Afrobeats, Brazilian Funk, Dembow...
