Nike Dunk Low SP "Team Tones"

In a world where designs need to be updated every season, one silhouette has managed to remain faithful to the same style for over 35 years. Now it returns to take a look back at its most original version, the Nike Dunk.

Many of sneakers stories are related to big names, but the Nike Dunk goes beyond that. While some models were designed exclusively for a single player, the Dunk was created with the idea of satisfying many, for which it had to be launched in colors that allowed its use by any team in any league.. In fact, during the development process, the code name for Dunk was College Color High. Do you play basketball? You could probably find a Dunk in the colors of your team. You could associate the original Dunk colors with UNLV, Syracuse or St John's, but also with your team, it represented your colors, your values and a way of feeling and living that only those who were nearby could understand.

Like many sneakers with history, it is the consumers themselves who have given new meanings to the Dunk through their limited editions, collaborations, or SB versions, and adding new relationships that evolved over time: Wu-Tang Clan, Stüssy, De La Soul, Pigeon or Travis Scott. Each Dunk represents an individuality, there are no two Dunks with the same meaning, as there are no two teams alike.

The “Team Tones” pack pays homage to some teams that managed to carve a niche in the memory of several generations, but above all it is associated with all the groups that lived through them.

A pack that will be launched in three phases to remember the youth of 1985, 2001 and 2016, three moments associated with the different colors of this very special edition. The first one on May 21st, with the Nike Dunk Low SP “Brazil”.
